Business Water Efficiency Program

Business Water Efficiency Program – funding to help your business save water.

Funding and support is now available to help your business reduce water consumption, save money and build its profile as a ‘water champion’. The Business Water Efficiency Program (BWEP) is a $15 million incentive scheme for regional Queensland funded by the Queensland Government and delivered in partnership by SEQWater and Calliope Shire Council to help businesses save water.

BWEP offers:

  1. A subsidy of up to 50% towards the external capital costs of water efficiency projects
  2. A subsidy of 50% towards the cost of auditing water use and developing a Water Efficiency Management Plan or WEMP (approved projects only - caps apply)
  3. Rebates to meet the cost of replacing toilets, taps and showerheads with water efficient products.

Funding is available for water saving projects completed between 11 May 2007 and 31 March 2009.
