The Shire Crier

Originally launched in 1986, The Shire Crier was an initiative of Council to keep our residents and ratepayers fully informed of Council's dealings.  Starting from humble beginnings as a 1 page feature in the Gladstone Observer, The Shire Crier grew to an impressive 12 page publication, produced on a monthly basis and distributed free of charge to over 5,800 households across the Shire.

The February 2008 edition of the Shire Crier was the last edition produced by Calliope Shire Council. The new Gladstone Regional Council will produce a new regional newsletter in the near future in order to continue to keep our residents informed.
