To reduce cash handling at the sites, Council will be offering a 10% discount for residents who pre-purchase waste disposal coupons. $20 worth of coupons will cost $18 if you pre-purchase.

These coupons are available for purchase from Council’s offices and libraries:

• Calliope Administration Centre
• Mt Larcom Rural Transaction Centre
• Boyne Tannum Community Centre
• Yarwun Targinnie Fruitgrowers Co-op Butler Street, Yarwun.

Purchase of coupons can be arranged by mail. Simply forward a cheque to PO Box 231 Calliope 4680, or contact Council on 49758100 to arrange a fund transfer by phone and coupons will be posted out.

 

Disposal Fees:

Garbage Bag up to 80 litres	$2.00
Garbage Bin up to 240 litres	$4.00
6x4 Trailer or ute	$10.00
Uncontaminated recyclables	Nil
Uncontaminated green waste to 6x4 trailer or ute	Nil
Larger loads must be taken to Benaraby

Remember: disposal of all clean, sorted recyclables and greenwaste is free!
